This is a winter festival that takes place in OUTDOOR environments. We do our absolute best to care and cover performers, but we don't control the weather and we want you to understand that participating in this is a unique experience! Performers will be available to play one one or more of the following nights: January 22 - 24, 2026.
Artists can apply to present live music, dance, storytelling, kids performances, installation art, theatre, stand-up comedy, and a variety of other art forms.
There are are at least FOUR covered stages representing different elements of the festival: SONG, STORY, LORE, and FABLE. We want your adaptation of these elements through performance - blow us away!
PLEASE SHARE LIVE VIDEO. This is an in-person experiential festival and we appreciate the review of your video offering with your submission. Please include a live performance video with your application.
Fire & Story provides a stipend for final Artists chosen to participate that can be applied towards travel and lodging. If possible, we may be able to support with accommodation recommendations for visiting artists.
We encourage all local, regional, national, and international artists to apply.
